Led by Brian Self, the team at Tri-Star has been serving the insurance needs of people in Southeast Missouri for 90 years. “We are delighted to have Brian Self join the Seaman Holtz family of companies and look forward to have him and his team help us build our Missouri office,” said Seeman Holtz Property & Casualty Vice president Brett Williams.
Seeman Holtz Property & Casualty announced the acquisitions of 24 companies in Florida, Texas and California in 2017.
The company has continued that trend so far this year. Seeman Holtz Property & Casualty announced in January that it had acquired Xponent Employer Solutions of Scottsdale, Arizona. That company provides such business solutions as Payroll, Employee Benefits, Insurance Services, and Human Resource Management. Also in January, the insurer announced the acquisition of Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services of Tulsa. That company has curated relationships with various networks, health plans, hospitals, surgery centers, state/federal agencies, and medical malpractice insurance carriers to get the lowest rates and best plans to their clients.
The Missouri acquisition is a return to roots for Seeman Holtz founders Marshal Seeman and Eric Holtz, Seeman said. “Eric and I are happy to be back in the state of Missouri where we went to college and can’t wait to have Brian on our side,” he said.
Seeman and Holtz founded the company in 1998 to focus on helping people with pre- and post-retirement planning. Since then, they have expanded into a family of companies that includes coverage for home, life, auto, boat and business insurance, as well as Seeman Holtz Private Client Group, which offers coverage for everything from luxury yachts and homes, to collections and exotic cars.
